Curriculum Vitæ
I choose projects that have a positive social or environmental impact, utilize my creativity, and further my edification and desire to teach. My broad sets of skill and curiosity allow me to design over media, from print to exhibitions, web to film. Presently I am receiving my MFA through the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Creative Answers
for Rebuilding Ecosystems
The rain forests of Central and South America, some of the the most diverse ecosystems on our planet, support millions of trees that are imperative to our survival, and more plants and animals than anywhere else on earth. They are also in risk of being completely destroyed by the year 2100. ¶
We designed a 100% eco-conscious apparel collection, using artwork drawn by children living in the rain forests, to educate consumers on the importance of saving this irreplaceable resource.

Republica Dominica, 2008

The tropical features and small rain forests of the DR peaked my curiosity in 2008. But the most interesting part of the journey was the people & precarious infrastructure. We were invited to stay in a 5-star resort, but that is a bit like being stranded on a cruise ship, too far from the local flare. Photos from town:

CHINA, 2006

I sought out a journey to China, through my education, in 2006. Each day was filled with rich adventures that outdid the last. The people I met were generous, curious, courteous, and kind. Like people I meet everywhere, we are more the same than we are different:

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, 2009

Giving back to the community, and teaching are two of my greatest joys. This winter I visited one of the charities I work with, Kids Saving the Rain Forest, as well as one of the rain forest communities that I am helping through my efforts with the
Andira Rain Tees project. We helped to plant trees and visited with local children in a bario. Visit

Dirty Laundry
The apparel industry is one of the most polluting of our major household expenditures worldwide. But do most people actually understand the content of their clothing and the methods by which they are created? Buying organic and fair trade clothing not only puts healthy material next to your vulnerable skin, it also supplies people in the industry with cleaner, safer, and better paying jobs. ¶
Understand how your everyday decisions impact the world around you.
